First of all, I’ve recently completed the game despite my inability to read any Japanese whatsoever, secondly, I received the game in the mail the other day after having ordered it from Play-Asia.com for $14.90, which meant in total, including shipping, I paid only £8.41, and since the GBA and the Nintendo DS are both region-free, I can play the game with no problem =)
Below is a comparison picture between the newly-acquried Mother 3 and my GBA copy of Link to the Past. I’ve decided I like the Mother 3 box better since it takes up less space for a start.

With the game being as user-friendly as it is, the only thing I was worried about (apart from not knowing what the characters are saying) was the fact that the PSI names and desc. are in Japanese so I wouldn’t really know which one was PSI Fire or PSI Freeze etc. Luckily, the game came with a little quick-start guide and apart from showing the game’s controls, it also had a PSI list, which was colour-coded, which will make things alot easier the next time I decide to play through the game =)
